HOT FOIL

Hot stamping foils can be universally applied to a wide range of substrates and surfaces. By heat and pressure, irregularities and roughness of the material or printed material used are levelled and flattened. A heated hot stamping die activates the adhesive layer of the film, which directly bonds the adhesive to the substrate. The stamping die is made of engraved brass or etched magnesium. The type of engraving or etching largely determines the visual impact of the final printed image. There is a fundamental difference between the following methods and options, with which a wide variety of visual effects can be generated and partly combined:

•    Flat Foil Stamping
•    Structure Foiling
•    Embossing & Foiling
•    Micro-Embossing
